He first became famous as a composer of operas, but during the reign of the three Habsburg emperors he wrote one oratorio each year between 1701 and 1711 for performance during Holy Week at the Holy Sepulchre, hence the term sepolcro. Performed by the French ensemble Les Travers\u00e9es Baroques, led by the zither player Judith Paquier, Ziani&#8217;s sepolcro with mezzo-soprano Dagmar \u0160a\u0161kov\u00e1 as Faith (La Fede) will be given its Czech premiere.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>THE CONCERT TAKES PLACE AT THE CHURCH OF ST.
